What was the last thing you wondered about?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for November 21, 2008:
I wonder about things all the time. What can I say? I'm a Leo.
But one of the things I wonder about fairly often is how blind we often are to our own illusions of duality.
For instance, many who purport to practice tolerance are intolerant of those whom they consider to be intolerant.
And those who wail against others' judgments of them will turn right around and judge someone else.
I see it as evidence to suggest that it is all coming from inside. Whatever we see in our outward experience that doesn't serve us or others may be healed within us.
We may "be the change we wish to see" as Gandhi so eloquently put it.

“it is all coming from inside” – absolutely.
I have recently found myself struggling in a relationship with a new roommate/old friend. and what I realized after we had a long talk about it last night is that my reactions to her are coming from my own “stuff” and her reactions to me are coming from her own “stuff”. whenever either of us has a reaction to the other we can look to our own self to solve the problem. this is true in all of my relationships – friendship, mariage, parental, work etc.
it's doublethink, Cathy.
Gandhi did it, too, you know. but the doublethinkers ignore that he beat his wife and slept with very young girls, somehow…
Okay, I am loving your blogs! I wrote one a while back entitled, “If it’s bothering you out there,it’s bothering you In There”.
I am now going to humbly find your ‘friend link’ because I don’t want to lose you. Thank you for the writings…. grace, openness, and authenticity.
Blessings!
