What have you been the most naive about?

Posted on Dec 8th, 2008 by celebriticat : Ambassador of Hugs celebriticat
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for December 08, 2008:

Naivete suggests a childlike attitude of simplicity and trust, and so I believe it is something to be cultivated, even as we gain wisdom.

We may not be able to un-know what we know, but what do we really know? We see things, hear things and experience things, and then we create stories around them.

Much of what we consider knowledge is simply judgment. A child doesn't care about stories, unless we ask them to explain something. They are in the moment, and when the moment passes, they let it go.

We say, "Oh, to be young again, and know what I know now." How about growing older and yet retaining our childlike spirit?

It could work. It could be wonderful.

What do you want most right now?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for December 09, 2008:

Worldwide awakening to the truth of who we really are - aspects of the One - which means we are the love, joy, peace and prosperity we are seeking.

"Can I have it, Santa? Please? Please? Please? I've been a very good girl."

"Yes, child, but I can't bring it to you in a box. You have to create it from within."

What question made the biggest impact on your life?

Posted on Dec 16th, 2008 by celebriticat : Ambassador of Hugs celebriticat
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for December 16, 2008:

Questions are very powerful, and many have impacted my life.

Who am I, really?
Who would I be if I recognized no limitations?

What if today were the last day of my life?

What if these are the last words I get to speak to this person in this life?

Questions to live by.

I'm not sure which question has been most impactful, but one that comes to mind is: So what?

The reason this question is impactful to me is that it helps cut through the dreaded "what ifs?", and the general BS that has been dumped into our minds unconsciously.

What if I really let them in-2-c-me and they reject me? So what? What other people think is none of our business. What they think or prefer is not about us. It's about them.

What if I fail? So what? There is no failure, anyway, only feedback. I don't remember who said that, but if we take the attitude that it's all a learning experience, we don't have to limit ourselves by playing it safe.

What if I lose the ones I love? So what? If you are not losing them in this moment, you are borrowing trouble by fretting over it. And if you are, you would serve yourself well to remember that everything in the physical realm is temporary. We either lose it all, or leave it behind. I believe we are never really separate, but it sure feels like we are when we no longer have them within our physical reach.

So what? is a powerful question.

With the freedom of So What?, we can live fearlessly. Fearlessly!

What was the last experience that took your breath away?

Posted on Dec 17th, 2008 by celebriticat : Ambassador of Hugs celebriticat
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for December 17, 2008:

Maybe not the last, but...

Snow, big, fluffy flakes of it, in Houston! That's right up there with the most breathtaking moments in my recent experience.

Having babies. Though they are grown now, I will never forget the magic and mystery of feeling life within my womb and watching it grow, then giving them birth and nourishing them from my own body. If that's not magic, I don't know what is. Watching them grow and unfold as the wonderful beings they are only added to the magic and wonder.

More recently, I have been amazed at my spiritual development, because things are happening within me that are mysterious to me and wonderful.

One of my current practices is to ask for help and healing during dream time. And last night as I was falling asleep, I noticed strong vibrations in my eyes. Then, as I awoke this morning, I noticed a delicious, melting energy in the area of my upper lip and my womb space. I don't know what it all means, but I have learned to trust that my soul will reveal what my mind needs to know when it needs to know it.

It's a journey of exploration and discovery and I am passionately enjoying the journey!

When have you been the most happy?

Posted on Dec 18th, 2008 by celebriticat : Ambassador of Hugs celebriticat
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for December 18, 2008:

I AM happiest when I remember not to look for outer conditions or other people to make me happy. No one and nothing can make me happy, just as I cannot make another happy.

Within me is everything I need for perfect happiness, love, joy, peace, ecstasy, all that is good and sweet. Everything I seek is within me already.

Remembering this is not always easy. Years of conditioning sometimes take a while to recondition. Sometimes, I would love to just drop the old conditioning in a flash of insight as some others have, but apparently that is not my soul's journey, at least not in this moment.

And so, when I am mindful of my true nature, I am happy, without effort. When I get my eyes on circumstances, happiness becomes a challenge.

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for December 19, 2008:

I am most at peace when I let go of attachments and relax into what is, fully trusting that life is supporting me and that All That Is contributes to my highest good.

Feeling unloved?

Posted on Dec 23rd, 2008 by celebriticat : Ambassador of Hugs celebriticat
Once we become aware of who we really are, it is amazing that we would ever feel unloved again.

And yet, the illusion of separation is part of the human experience, and we can get caught up in it at times.

One of my Twitter friends posted a beautiful entry on her blog that can be helpful if you are feeling unloved.

Enjoy. http://jenlemen.com/blog/?p=566

What's your favorite part of this season?

Posted on Dec 26th, 2008 by celebriticat : Ambassador of Hugs celebriticat
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for December 26, 2008:

My favorite part of the season is getting together with family. I love the happy noise - several conversations going on at once (and sometimes two conversations will cross with hilarious results) - and the abundance of love energy filling the house. We actually exchange gifts, taking the time to hand our gift to the recipient and pay attention as they open it, so we can share one another's joy in giving and receiving.
