What does it feel like to live in the future?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for March 12, 2009:
To me, it feels like being absent from the present.
Life can only be experienced now, so when our awareness is in the future or the past, we are missing our life experience. Life still goes on, but we are unaware.

Beautifully written. I spent a lifetime in that mode, and it did feel like I was absent. Life may go on, but not in Spirit. Which in the end is definitely unaware… thank you for the share.
