Cathy means "pure" and its origin seems to depend on which source you ask.

Elaine means "light", and its origin is French.

I love the meaning of my name.
 
I was sitting in a Reiki share group one night and when the leader mentioned that Reiki is pure light, chills went up my spine.
 
We are all manifestations of that pure light.
